Australian - Mezzo Soprano Sidra Nissen is a member of Melbourne Opera's Richard Divall Emerging Artist Program and is the 2025 Winner of the IFAC Handa Australian Singing Competition and also in 2025 received First Prize at the Opera Scholars Australia Aria competition final.
Sidra made her Company debut with Melbourne Opera as ‘Dorabella’ in Così Fan Tutte this year and next year will make her professional debut with Victorian Opera in The Pirates of Penzance.
Sidra holds a Bachelor of Music from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (performance) and Graduated with First Class Honours.
